Hello, and welcome! I’m Isabelle, a passionate acrylic artist based in the beautiful city of Quebec. My journey as an artist has been one of exploration, growth, and the pursuit of creating art that inspires and resonates with others. Today, I’d like to share the story behind my art—how it all began, the milestones I’ve reached, and the vision that drives me forward.

Discovering My Passion

My love for art began at a young age. I can still remember the excitement of my first drawing classes, the simple joy of sketching lines and shading shapes. Those early experiences laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion. Over the years, my curiosity grew, leading me to experiment with new materials, techniques, and ideas.

The Path of Education and Growth

To deepen my understanding and refine my skills, I pursued formal training in an arts program in Quebec City. Those years were transformative, giving me the tools and confidence to express my vision through my work. While my education provided a strong technical foundation, much of my growth as an artist has come from simply exploring—painting, failing, learning, and trying again.

Inspiration in People

Throughout my career, I’ve been inspired by people who leave a mark on the world. Visionaries in sports, arts, music, and politics fuel my creativity and challenge me to capture their essence on canvas. To me, these individuals represent determination, resilience, and the beauty of human potential, qualities I strive to bring to life in every portrait.

A Breakthrough Moment

Every artist has a defining moment that changes everything. For me, it was the launch of my initial golf collection. The response from clients was overwhelmingly positive, and their enthusiasm gave me the confidence to take a leap of faith and pursue art full-time. That experience taught me that my work has the power to connect with others—and that was all I needed to keep going.

My Current Focus

Right now, I’m diving into a series inspired by musicians and artists who have performed in my hometown of Quebec City. This project combines two of my greatest passions: celebrating creativity and paying tribute to the vibrant culture of this city I love so much. It’s an exciting exploration of color, emotion, and storytelling.

Life Behind the Canvas

Outside of the studio, my life is filled with love and laughter as a wife and the proud mother of two young daughters. My family is my biggest support system and a constant source of inspiration. Living in Quebec City, surrounded by its rich history and natural beauty, fuels my creativity daily.

A fun fact about my process? I work best surrounded by music—it helps me channel the emotions I want to convey in my paintings. And yes, there’s always coffee nearby!

Overcoming Doubt

Like many artists, I’ve battled impostor syndrome—the nagging feeling that I didn’t belong in the art world. For a long time, it held me back. But today, I’ve learned to work through it. As I often remind myself:
"The impostor syndrome was blocking me. It's still there, but it's not stopping me anymore."
